NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a vacancy exists on the Governing Board of the Sausalito Marin City School District, Marin County, California.
Nature of Vacancy:
The vacancy occurred as a result of the resignation of Trustee Lytle, a duly elected member of the Governing Board. The resignation was filed with the Marin County Superintendent of
Schools on April, 2026. The vacancy became effective on May 1, 2026.

 

Provisional Appointment:
Pursuant to Education Code Section 5091, the Governing Board of the Sausalito Marin City School District has made a provisional appointment to fill the vacancy. The provisional

Right to Petition for Special Election:
Unless a petition calling for a special election pursuant to Education Code 5091 is filed in the Office of the Marin County Superintendent of Schools within 30 days of this provisional appointment, it shall become an effective appointment. Petitions must be filed with the Marin County Superintendent of Schools, Marin County Office of Education, 1111 Las Gallinas Avenue, San Rafael, CA 94903.
