Sausalito Marin City School District

SMCSD provides high-quality expanded learning (after-care and intersession care) for students in grades TK-8th grade. Through both the Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELO-P) and the After School Enrichment and Safety (ASES) program, we provide this service free to families who qualify (Multilingual (English Language Learner), income eligible, homeless/foster youth). We have additional spaces available for families who do not meet these criteria and need care but we will prioritize this space for families of students who need to stay 5 days a week and through the duration of the program.

Our aftercare program operates every day that school is in session from the end of the instructional day until 6:15 pm. In addition, our program serves students for a nine hour day on 30 non-school days (including summer). Our program offers the following components: homework support/literacy, enrichment activities including visual and performing arts, structured physical activity and a nutritious snack provided by our SMCSD Food Services Department.
