The MLK Parent Dream Team is a group of parents and guardians that strive to create joyful, lasting memories for our students, teachers, families, and community by hosting events and organzing the Room Parents for the school. Previous events include:
- The MLK Float in Sausalito's 4th of July Parade
- The yearly TK/K Kinder Playdate
- "Sips, Chips, 'n Dips" Open Mic and Mixer
- Outdoor Movie Night
- Karaoke Night
- The Garden Fair

The MLK Parent Dream Team cannot succeed without your support. There are so many ways to help:
- Sign up to be a Room Parent in your child's classroom
- Volunteer at one of the many events we have during the year - requests will be sent through Parent Square
- Join a meeting! Anyone can join, they are typically the second Tuesday of the Month on Zoom
- Lead the team! Check out our open positions below and help guide us into our next phase

Ready to take a more active role? We would love your help.
- Co-Chair: Provide oversight and communication related to Dream Team events and initiatives. Coordinate school communications with Administration, Rise Up!, and Board. Set and manage budget.
- Volunteer Coordinator: Recruit volunteers, facilitate communication to families about volunteer opportunities, coordinate volunteer database and share with appropriate contacts. Engage with volunteers as needed throughout the year. Develop volunteer recognition and celebration.
