The Phillips Campus HVAC Replacement Project includes the addition of new HVAC equipment in the main building atrium, new HVAC equipment in the Multi-Use Building and new HVAC controls throughout the existing campus buildings.

 

In January of 2022, the District issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the project to the District’s pool of architects for Measure P.  Two proposals were received and evaluated based on the following criteria: schedule, personnel/team experience, work commitments, compensation, other relevant criteria, and an interview.  

At the conclusion of scoring by a panel of District personnel based on the above criterion, Hibser Yamauchi Architects received the highest total score representing the overall best value for the District.  District staff is recommending that the Board approve Hibser Yamauchi Architects as the architectural design firm for the project.
