Sausalito Marin City School District

Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP)

Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP)

With the adoption of the Local Control Funding Formula or LCFF in school funding, Districts are now required to develop a visionary plan that describes an overall vision for students and sets annual goals and specific actions that a district will take to achieve this goal and vision. This plan is called the Local Control and Accountability Plan or LCAP. As part of the LCAP, Sausalito Marin City School District will involve and engage parents, students, educators, employees and the community in a variety of ways.

We value community feedback, suggestions, and thoughts regarding the LCAP process. While the LCAP is a 3-year plan, school districts are required to solicit input and review the plan on a yearly basis. To share additional thoughts and information, please email Superintendent Itoco Garcia at igarcia@smcsd.org.
