CAASPP Test
The California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) is the state’s standardized testing system designed to measure students' progress toward college and career readiness.
ELA (English Language Arts): The ELA portion assesses skills in reading, writing, listening, and research. It focuses on critical thinking and comprehension, using a variety of texts and tasks to evaluate students' ability to analyze, interpret, and articulate ideas effectively.
Math: The Math portion evaluates students' understanding of concepts, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning. It includes questions that assess knowledge of numbers, algebra, geometry, and data analysis.
The CAASPP tests are administered to students in grades 3-8.
